A year ago I replaced my Thule steel straight rods – which holds the ProRide 591s – to a more efficient and lot nicer ALU rods.

However after a long trip I just realised: somehow I managed to loose one of the end cap 🙁

This morning I woke up to this: I need to fix this before the biking season starts, because my eyes always catch the missing ALU end when I approaching my car…I need to fix this…this is a MUST, ASAP.

Let’s see how is this possible: with 3D Printing of course!

The original one is a little bit „curvier” than the 3dprinted one, but you can replace all 4.

The overall price for the 4 printed end CAP is around 1$.

Fits perfectly: I used some glue – to stay on the safe side – just because of the hot summers and the PLA material will bend a little bit in hot environment.
